Olive Green Jumper + Buddy Love Event

Well friends, back to Monday but I am not too upset since we are officially in one of my favorite months… MAY! AND its Cinco De Mayo week!! Whoop Whoop!!

Last week, I got to attend a fun blogger event in Dallas with some awesome blogging friends. One of my favorite boutiques, Buddy Love, was hosting a birthday bash for a local radio host, Caroline Kraddick. If you are familiar with her, she is the CEO of Kidds Kidds, a local charity for kids diagnosed with cancer. All proceeds went to Kidds Kidds which is amazing! It was a blast getting to meet some local influencers while sipping on some drinks and munching on snacks.

I wanted to share some photos and what I wore to the event. I recently found the comfiest, olive green jumpsuit that is super flattering!

By now you should recognize my love for neutral pieces. This olive jumpsuit just screams neutral and because the weather in Dallas is so unpredictable, I grabbed my favorite denim jacket. It’s a great transition piece because of the color and length. And of course, another love of mine was included in this look, animal print, which I recently shared last week and I can’t just can’t get over it! I found this one that is literally EVERYTHING!!! I am also loving the neck scarf trend that I keep seeing everywhere…. I am totally digging it with this one I found! I also paired these brown sandals I found at Marshalls that were a big hit!

I am so glad I got to take part in this event because not only is BuddyLove one of my favorite lines and I’m obsessed with their clothes but everyone was super nice and helpful! All of their pieces are on trend, they’re super-comfy and the colors and patterns are great. Plus, there are lots of off-the-shoulder numbers to choose from, and you know that’s my fave! We are actually having a local mom blogger happy hour Tuesday that I am SO EXCITED for!! Anytime there are drinks + crazy moms involved, you know its going to be a great time! Stay tuned to Insta-Stories for all the festivities!!! 🙂

Have a great week friends!!

Holiday Gift Guide & Black Friday Deals

If you are anything like me then you are super psycho about Black Friday! Once Thanksgiving lunch/dinner is over, I am putting on my fat pants, grabbing my “sippy cup” and grabbing the hubby’s credit card 🙂

Yes, I do agree stores have been a little crazy opening so much earlier on Thanksgiving Day than normal but I spend the entire weekend with family. Being such a short week anyway, I am with a 3 year old most of my time so I am ready to get out of the house by then. Usually me and my mom are out the door by 7-8pm ready to tackle the crowds. The real crazies are usually cleared out by then anyway 🙂 I have done my annual Black Friday research for the best deals and have given you all the details. We usually try to hit up most of these stores for their great deals but sometimes there just isnt enough coffee to keep your eyes and body running 🙂

Burgundy + OTK Boots

How is it already Thanksgiving Week!?!?! I mean, I am totally not complaining because I get to eat ALL THE FOOD but time is literally flying by! Tis the season… 🙂

If you’ve been window shopping lately or browsing the internet, you may have noticed one color overpowering the others: Burgundy. The gorgeous hue is in for Fall and you definitely don’t want to miss out! I found this boho dress for under $30!!! I tried to channel my inner hippie with it. It is, like most of my clothes, wonderfully flowy and oversized. It was a steal from Shein , I love using them to test out trends that I might not otherwise try due to cost. To give it some edge, and some structure I paired it with my favorite furry vest and this floppy hat!

You also don’t want to miss out on the OTK boot trend this fall. Trust me, I found THE best identical OTK boot dupe to the original $800 pair for less than $100! How can you say no to that?! 🙂

Fall Essential: The Sleeveless Sweater

Let me introduce you to the cutest little sleeveless sweater I have ever laid my eyes on!

I’m not going to lie, it’s been a hot minute since I’ve worn a turtleneck, so I was really on the fence about purchasing one. But from what I’ve seen, it seems that turtlenecks and cowl necks are going to be big this fall, so I wanted to try one out. While it’s still a little bit warm out right now to be wearing a turtleneck sweater, I can’t wait to add this to my fall collection. It’s perfect with skinny jeans or moto jeans for a little bit of an edgy look. I paired it with my go-to leopard clutch and black boots I purchased last season.
