Spring Pieces For Everyone

FRIDAY!!! I’ve been waiting all week for you!

Glad this crazy week is over and we are headed into the weekend. We did have a pretty successful FIRST large meeting so I am a happy camper! Everyone loved the new office and complimented the hard work… FINALLY 🙂 Makes it all worth it! We will be getting ready for our vacation this weekend and of course a full day of teeball. I wanted to share a fun collab I had the opportunity to work with!!

Cuddy Studios reached out to me to send me some items to share with y’all – and I am SO glad that they did! I received 2 items in the mail – the cutest romper and a classic, sheer white top. I am seriously so in LOVE with both of them. The patterns are so bright and vibrant and absolutely perfect for summer. You guys NEED to check out their stuff because every single item is so beautiful.

My first look includes the cutest White Flowy Top. I love how classic and chic it is. I paired it with the comfiest scalloped black shorts and my new favorite summer wedges! I shared these wedges on Instagram this week and everyone was going crazy since they were only $10! They are super comfy and are such great quality! Recently, I found this super fun crossbody from Marshalls. The fringe details are so fun!!! 🙂 I love the color combinations of all of this! This top certainly did not disappoint.

They also sent me the cutest romper that I just fell in love with when I opened the package. If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, then you know I’m a sucker for anything with bright colors. This romper is all different shades of blue and purple – so YUP I needed this dress in my life. I paired it with my favorite summer sandals (last season) that are oh so comfy. Since I will be taking this romper to Mexico, I wanted to add my go-to beach hat and sunnies!!  I wanted to add a pop of turquoise so I added my new bead necklace from BaubleBar. It will be a total repeat for summer!

If you have head of Cuddy Studios yet, y’all should totally check out their clothes. You wont be dissapointed!

I will be doing a reader survey next week. I have never done one before but I love all of you and would love some feedback to help improve the blog. I take any and all feedback/criticism good or bad. Dont worry about hurting my feelings if you totally hate everything about the blog lol {which I hope you dont.. 🙂  } I am also doing a giveaway for everyone that fills out the survey! The prize is actually a surprise but trust me… you want to win this!!! 🙂 I will be revealing the winner next week!!

Have an awesome weekend friends!!!

Brittany 🙂

Oversized Sweaters & Cut-Offs

I thought we’d start this Friday off with an ensemble that is soon to be my go-to during these next couple of months… the easy, comfortable jean shorts + oversized sweater look.

Oversized sweater & cutoffs

I purchased this oversized-sleeved sweater during the Nordstrom sale last year, and it’s quickly become one of the most-worn pieces in my closet. I paired it with my go-to denim cutoffs (out of stock, similar, similar) and my favorite OTK boots for a laid back, bohemian vibe.

The finishing touch that brings this whole look together? A pair of fun, retro sunglasses! I am obsessed with the blue tint and have loved this trend the second I saw it. I wasnt sure if I could pull it off but I think it gives that hippie vibe. They work on every person I’ve seen them on! Of course, I had to add a great hat and one of my favorite chokers I have been loving.

It is a busy weekend for me as I am leaving later today to judge a dance competition in Galveston! Its long hours but its something I love doing! I have danced my whole life and it keeps my alive ( emotionally speaking…. Coffee & Diet Coke actually keep me awake 🙂 We actually go LIVE on Monday for our new remodeled office! Hoping I dont fall over from exhaustion 🙂

Do you have big plans for the weekend?

Brittany 🙂

Sugar Free Sangria

HAPPY MONDAY!!! Being that we are already in May, I thought I would do something a little different and kick off Spring with some fun! I have done some experimenting with food and drinks over the last month and actually discovered an amazing & healthy (somewhat) drink! Sugar-free Sangria !!!!

What?!?!…. That’s Correct!!! It is pretty much amazing! I wanted to drink something besides dry, red wine for this detox and I love Sangria. Why not make one that fits my diet AND doesn’t make me bloated. I know there are so many ways to make Sangria but I also know that it is possible to make a healthier drink that wont kill you on the calories. I have also discovered LaCroix water trying to stay away from Diet Coke. Let me tell you…. this stuff is amazing!!! It helps replace the carbonation craving and rather than reaching for a soda, this will help curve the craving! There are so many flavors and they are all delicious. I decided to add some to my Sangria and I am so glad I did 🙂

  • 2 bottles red wine (I used Pinot Noir (dryest))
  • ¼ cup La Croix Cranberry Sparkling Water
  • ¼ cup club soda
  • 3 oranges (thinly sliced)
  • 1 lemon (thinly sliced)
  • 1 lime (thinly sliced)
  • ¼ cup apples
  • ¼ cup cherries (pitted)
  • ¼ cup raspberries
  1. Mix all ingredients together in large pitcher.
  2. Chill in fridge and add ice.

Feel free to change the fruits up to what ever you have available. One of my favorite sangria mixes was mainly berries but there was Brandy and Grand Marnier mixed in. Try it out.

What are some specialty drinks you are loving? Any healthy drinks you think I need to try?

Brittany 🙂
