Labor Day Treats

Is it the weekend yet?!?!

I have been in the holiday celebration mode since Monday and love making fun snacks and drinks to celebrate. We have a couple different things going on for the long weekend and most of them will consist of yummy holiday treats. I have a feeling something will end up at our house at one point so I have prepared lots of great snack ideas to keep everyone happy. I have actually made all of these treats at some point and love them all. I have linked them all below. I hope at least one of these makes it to your celebration 🙂

Back To School Style With Target

And just like that….Summer is coming to an end.

Kids are gearing up to go back to school and I am over here like… Noooooo!!!!! My 5 year old starts Kindergarten this year and I am slightly not ready for this. He has been in daycare/Pre-K and I know he loves it but this momma just doesnt wan to let go of my “baby”! Kindergarten is such a great transition in their lives and he will totally love it. On the first day of school, you can find me with a mimosa in hand while soaking in these moments,

Speaking of this little man and his style, he is all about comfort over style. He is such an active little boy, he prefers active wear over anything. And the few times I put him in nicer pants, he immediatly says.. “Really Mom?”… and I cant help but laugh. Since he is will be in public school, he doesn’t really have a choice. When I brought home a new wardrobe, he was actually pretty pumped towear it! I wanted to share some “Back To School” inspiration from one of my favorite stores… TARGET!!!

Busy Gal Goodies by BabbleBoxx

Happy Happy Friday!!!!  Yay for another short week  and the weekend!

We have been soooooooo busy at work and it seems like my boss has just been in the office like everyday!  I know, that’s what offices are for but he usually travels all week and might pop in on Fridays. So when he is there, I am always behind on emails and have to catch up on everything in the eventings. He has at least fifty bullets on the to-do list and maybe 2-3 of them get done a day lol – Trust me, I do love my job and I am blessed to have it but when you have your way of doing things and your own routine and then it gets interrupted, its pretty stressful! I hope y’all can relate 🙂

Today, I’m going to be giving you all a little review/roundup of what was in my recent Babblebox which consisted of a bunch of different products that I’m all giddy inside for. And the best part is, I have some amazing offers for most of the brands as well so make sure to keep reading on!

Coobie Bralette

babblebox

Bralettes are a sexy alternative for everyday wear. They are made with soft, stretchy lace for more comfort. The cups are lined with a soft, thin nylon blend that provides coverage without the bulk. This Coobie bralette is probably my favorite item from this box. This bralette is free of pads and wires but it still makes a beautiful cleavage. The straps are adjustable and include a mid strap hook on the back so you can wear it in a racerback style. This bralette is available in three sizes small, medium and large.

Bloom Mineral Skincare Set

I am not usually one to try skincare products without looking at reviews first but this stuff looked amazing right out of the box. Bloom Mineral Beauty is a brand to put on your radar, especially if you are looking to try out natural beauty products. This four piece set is a perfect simple skincare routine even the busiest of girls can follow. The set comes with a cleanser, moisturizer, mask and eye cream. I haven’t had much time to focus on self-care lately, and that needs to change. I do however always follow a skincare routine and mask at least once a week. The bloom Mineral Beauty Ready.Set.Hydrate set is $39 and an excellent way to try out the brand.

You have the chance to save 25% with code “skin25” – good through June 30. This offer is limited of 2 uses per customer.

Clear Eyes Pure Relief®

I am always messing with my eyes during the day from scaring at a computer screen. My contacts will dry out so easily. Clear Eyes Pure Relief®, helps to keep my eyes hydrated and itch free. Clear Eyes is the first preservative free eyes drop in a multidose bottle available at retail in the US. It’s also available in a dry eye formula if that is an issue for you. The bottle has a built in purifying filter that keeps bacteria out, eliminating the need for preservatives. Click here to download a coupon that will save you $3 when you purchase.

Nad’s Hair Removal Cream

Another item I want to talk about is the Nad’s Hair Removal Cream.  I actually used this when I was younger when my mom wouldn’t let me use a razor. Nad’s Sensitive Hair Removal Cream is designed for painless hair removal; formulated with natural extracts of melon, aloe vera, avocado Oil and honey to help soothe and protect sensitive skin. What I love about the product it is perfect for the shower because it does not drip. It is also simple, quick and removes hairs easily, with no pain! I just want to let you know please do not exceed 10 minutes, and when done just wipe away cream with cloth and rinse.
I was truly happy to receive this awesome box which included a lot of my daily essential. I hope you will enjoy them as much as I did.

Black Bardot Dress + Pom Pom Heels

Here in Dallas, it’s getting to the point where it’s warm enough to head to the pool on the weekends, which I’m SUPER excited about. I’m currently doing my swimsuit research and stocking up on great little summer dresses like this one.

laser cut off the shoulder dress

You guys know how much I love off-the-shoulder anything, so right off the bat this piece is a winner in my book. I was initally attracted to the sleeves and then the laser cut detail caught my eye and I was SOLD! The fit is perfect, AKA flowy, and you cant go wrong with black!  This dress is such a good summer buy and so affordable! It’ll also be perfect for holidays especially when trying to avoid tan lines!

And can we talk about these shoes! Show Stoppers! They give me life and are actually pretty comfortable! I love how the statement heels look with a simple LBD. I was actually wanting to make some myself as a DYI project. After researching and finding all the supplies, I was going to be out $50! Why not actually find some already made AND cheaper?!?! These are under $20 and on sale y’all! Whoop Whoop!

Of course I had to add more color and sass to the outfit with a fun necklace and my favorite pom pom earrings!

Have an awesome weekend babes!

Casual Metallics

Monday, we meet again! I hope y’all had an amazing Mothers Day weekend with all your family and friends. I had such a great day yesterday being “pampered” with a makeover from my son, brunch with family and of course a fun trip to Target! Couldnt think of a better day 🙂

I have been loving the warmer weather lately and wanted to share these metallic shorts that I cant stop wearing!

casual metallic shorts

Shorts // Chambray Top // Sneakers // Clutch // Hair Band

When I first found these shorts, I knew I HAD to have them. Metallic, silver & pockets??….I will take five pairs!!! I have already worn them several times and every time someone stops to ask where I got them! AND they are under $20!!

I initially wore an oversized sweater back in March but totally forgot to snap some photos. With the warmer weather, they will still be on repeat and can be styled so many different ways! For a more casual look, I paired them with my favorite chambray top. This pink clutch adds a pop of color and of course you cant go wrong with a touch of leopard print. I spent the day shopping so the hair was up for the day. Another touch of leopard print never hurts so I slid on my go-to headband!

glitter top

I also styled them awhile back with this amazing graphic tee! This tee couldn’t explain my motto in life more perfectly!!

I hope y’all have an amazing week babes!!
