Hey Girl, Hey!!!!

I am SO excited to share this project I have been working on for months. I truly have a passion for creating wardrobe capsules for all seasons of your life. Summer is probably my favorite season to style clothes, shop for bright colors and get away wearing basically whatever you want since the temps can get super HOT! I created an entire summer capsule wardrobe for you featuring 20 closet staples styled 30 ways. This will give you a months worth of outfits without having to put any effort in styling them yourself. I also wanted to make it easy for you to access them so I created a downloadable lookbook with all of the outfits and shoppable items. You can download it at the bottom of this post.

More exciting news…. I have officially created “Kingdom of Capsules” which will be a brand new platform that will provide different services catered to YOU! It is still a work in progress and everything is still being outlined. Initially, I will be providing monthly capsules for a variety of things other than seasonal. I am going to provide member perks, giveaways and virtual styling opportunities as well. Once the details are hammered out, I will be sharing all of the exciting new things with y’all! What is a Capsule Wardrobe?

A capsule collection includes essentials that can be worn interchangeably for work, travel, or fun. A classic summer capsule closet provides a template of clothes you can mix and match for various occasions.

How do I build a Summer Capsule Wardrobe?

The truth is that putting together a summer capsule wardrobe requires planning. This summer especially, I recommend considering where you’ll be going, what you’ll be doing most often, and what your favorite pieces are for long, hot days. Once you’ve reviewed, make a list of essentials.

Maybe you’re not headed to the beach or anywhere with chilly evenings, so outerwear and swimsuits aren’t key. In my opinion, short sleeve tops, dresses, bottoms, shoes, and accessories should always make the list for a classic summer capsule wardrobe. That being said, tailor it to your needs and financial situation. Don’t feel like you need every single piece.

Shop smart but make it FUN!

This is a colorful, casual summer wardrobe with pieces that are comfy, relaxed, and really easy to wear. As a general motto, I want my outfits to be fuss-free, but I especially want that in the summer when it’s unbearably hot! You can change the colors or prints to ones that better suit your preferences. Even if these colors or prints don’t match your tastes, at the very least, I hope this serves as a template for you to put together a fun, versatile summer wardrobe!
