If there’s one question that I get asked the most, it’s “what are your top five closet staples?” I did have a hard time narrowing it down so I wanted to pick my top 5 from my favorite retailers. All of them are affordable and I wear more than half every week! So today, I’ve rounded up exactly those and packaged them into one handy list for you.

Faux Fur Vest – I ordered a couple different fur vest already for fall and I really wasnt a fan of the fit of any of them. I came across this little number , that is only $40 , and I am OBSESSED!! The quality, the length and the color of this one are all on point! It will go with so many great pieces for fall.
Pencil Skirt – I am not one to wear skirts to work or really like ever but when I gave this classic pencil skirt a try, I was very impressed! Its super flattering.

Flannel Top – These are a MUST HAVE in the fall, better yet year round. These do run true to size.
Denim Jacket – I’ve owned several denim jackets and this one has such a great wash. It literally goes with everything!
Camo Pants – The #1 seller from Old Navy…. these pants are total game changers. If you are a big fan of pattern mixing, you need these in your life! For some reason they do run a little small so size up. I could probably wear these every single day for the rest of my life 🙂
Plaid Dress – This print is great for fall and I do love the longer length. You can wear it open over a cute outfit or add a fur vest for a funky outfit!
Duster Cardigan – The #2 top selling piece from Old Navy, this duster is a great closet staple. Perfect for the office or casual outfit for running errands.

Utility Jacket – If you do not own a utility jacket yet, this one is super lightweight and the color is so rich
Sculpted Denim – Three words: Suck You IN!!
Plaid Skirt – I get total Clueless vibes from this skirt but the styling possibilities are endless!
Floral Dress – The print on this dress is so gorgeous! Its perfect for family photos or any fall event. And of course, great for the office.
Chambray Shirt – This is the softest shirt I own no joke. And chambray can be styled 100000 ways!! 🙂

Turtleneck Sweater – I love the fit and quality of this turtleneck. It is a one size so if you are very petite it might be a little big but it does come in several colors plus free shipping!

Sweater Dress – My new obsession… this actually was a little disappointing initially because of sizing and the dress not actually looking like the website photo. But I did order a size up and its PERFECT! Totally a holiday dress for all the holiday fun!
Leopard Cardigan – My #1 Amazon purchase and best seller to date… When I found this I didnt think it was going to be great quality but now its all over the gram and for good reason. It comes in 5 other colors.

Basic Sweater – You could probably guess why I love this sweater… 🙂 Well other than the bright pink color, it really is super soft and just a great closet staple to get you through the colder months
Turtleneck Sweater – Love the camel color of this one and the quality is legit
Chino Pants – A great pair of work pants can really change your mood at work. I love the maroon color of this chino pants. They do come in other colors are on sale right now
