We are officially back in full school mode and regularly scheduled programming over here! Can I get an Amen?!? 🙂
If you have been here awhile, you know I love affordable fashion. I can count on Walmart to always have the lowest prices on back to school clothes and they did not disappoint in the active-wear department. For Ridge, he prefers to wear active-wear over anything else.
Walmart carries tons of brands that offer active-wear featuring soft, light and comfortable fabrics. The main fabric I look for is the DRI-MORE moisture-wicking technology, these clothes keep kids comfortable through everything from a quick game of tag in the morning to an hour-long game of soccer at lunch.
Luckily for me, Walmart has plenty of great clothing that feels as great as it looks!
Personally, I’m a huge fan of the Athletic Works line. i was super impressed with the quality of these sneakers for only $14. He has worn these for a couple weeks now and they are still in great shape. I will probably order another pair as a backup or just to have once these have seen better days.
Recently, the brands I have seen Walmart carry are getting better and better. I have worn Russell brand myself for years and I love the quality of their active-wear. These dry-fit, fleece pants are perfect for school or really any activity for kids. Ridge is definitely the rougher, tumble, climbing, jumping and rolling in the dirt type of recess boy and these pants help protect his legs from battle wounds.
His quarter zip pullover isnt available online but here is a similar one that is great too. I will usually send a light jacket or pullover to school with him in case it gets chilly in his classroom or outside. The active wear selection for boys always carries the bright, neon colors which Ridge loves. 🙂
