Football Season is HERE!!!!!

If there is one thing I get anxiety about this time of year its the hype and excitement of Friday night lights and College Football Saturdays!

One of the common questions I receive every year is how to dress for game day other than a jersey?… Especially when it still feels like summer outside? And, how to dress when it is bone-chilly while still being cute?

I wanted to share a variety of outfits for hot or cold weather for three different college teams. Its ok to root for three different teams right?!?!.. 🙂

Team #1: Cincinnati Bearcats (my alumni)

Colors: Red + Black

Plaid Vest (medium) // Striped Tunic (similar) // Leggings (large) // Sneakers (size up half a size) // Game Day Tee (medium) // Plaid Top // Shorts (size up one) // White Sneakers (true to size) // Cincy Hat // Red Blouse (Target, not available online) // White Shorts // Snakeskin flats

Lets go BEARCATS!!!!! I actually attended the University of Cincinnati and was a part of the dance team there. I never thought in a million years I would go to school a thousand miles away but it was all for my love of dance. And now I have the best memories and best friends who still live there. Since it does get cold pretty early in the fall in Cincy, its easy to just throw on some jeans and a hoodie. But you can also be cute while doing it 🙂

I love this tee with jeans too! It really can be styled a ton of ways!

Game Day Tee (medium) // Jeans (size 6/short) // White Sneakers (true to size) // Cincy Hat

I had to share these kicks in this color! These are the Nike High tops I raved about from the NSale but in a maroon color! A dear friend actually gifted them to me as a surprise and I am OBSESSED! I have the size 7! I’ve had this sweater dress awhile now and love it with sneakers. The fact it has pockets is a win in my book! I wear the size medium. This would be a cute and casual game day option.

Team #2: Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Colors: Green + GOld

Green Blouse (medium) // Leopard Skirt (medium) // Black Heels // Earrings // Green Striped 3/4 Sleeve Tee (medium) // Puffer Vest (medium) // Jeans (size 6/short) // Green Slip On sneakers // Tie Dye Kimono (medium) // Cami (large) // Shorts (size up one) // Booties // Fedora Hat

Growing up, my dad would do sports trivia every night with me. He quizzed me on college and NFL mascots and teams and I am actually forever grateful for that. I follow sports religiously and definetly couldnt live without it. And of course, we rooted on Notre Dame every Saturday because that is HIS favorite team.

I thought I would struggle trying to come up with cute outfits all involving the color green. But to my surprise, green is now growing on me and I love it!

Green Blouse (medium) // Scalloped Shorts (size 8) // Snakeskin Slides

Team #3: Texas Longhorns (my ride or die childhood team)

Colors: Burnt Orange + White

Hat // Sweater Poncho // Striped Tee (small) // Spanx Leggings (large) // Snakeskin Booties (true to size) // Flannel Top (medium) // Cami (large) // Shorts (size up one) // Sneakers (size up half) // Rinestone Hat // Cowboy Hat // Tiered Ruffle Dress (medium) // Similar Cowboys Boots

College football games in Texas are H-O-T! It’s hard for me not to laugh when girls show up wearing their best game day outfits, only to quickly find out that they’ll be sweating up a storm. I usually opt for a light weight dress or a simple tee and shorts. There are very few games it is actually chilly or cold but you can always do an easy poncho and leggings while sporting your team colors! 🙂

Tiered Ruffle Dress (medium, runs big) // Infinity Scarf // Similar Cowboy Boots

Duster Cardigan (medium) // Chambray Top (medium) // Denim Skirt (size 8) // OTK Boots // Hat

Leather Jacket (medium) // Flannel Top (medium) // Leather Skirt (size 6) // Tall Boots
