One-time gifts are so last year. Subscription boxes—or a service that periodically sends packages to one’s address—are the best presents of a new generation. Not only will the personalized boxed gifts show your loved ones that you’re thinking about them, but they’re sure to last well beyond a holiday or any milestone celebration.

Winc Wines
Winc is a wine subscription box that re-imagines the traditional wine club by offering a regularly-changing selection of unique, small production wines that are sourced directly from vineyards and winemakers. This is one of my favorite alcohol delivery services!
You take a six-question palate profile quiz to help determine your taste in wine. Based on your answers, Winc makes bottle recommendations for you every month. This would be the perfect gift for the wine lover in your life!
Butcher Box
ButcherBox, a monthly meat subscription service, is no stranger to the game. They have quickly become one of the most highly subscribed-to meat boxes in the U.S., and for good reason.
100% grass-fed and pasture raised beef, free-range organic chicken, heritage breed pork, and wild caught Alaskan salmon directly to your door. When it comes down to it the convenience, amazing quality, and comparable price makes ButcherBox a no brainer for me! Perfect for any man meat lover!
Stitch Fix
Stitch Fix is a monthly clothing and styling subscription service. When you sign up you take a pretty in-depth survey of your sizes, your style, and pricing preferences. After choosing when you’d like to receive your delivery, your stylist handpicks 5 items based on your preferences. The fee for this service is $20, and that includes free shipping and free returns. And if you keep any of the items they send you, you get to deduct the $20 fee from the total. Great gift idea for a busy fashionista.
Billie Razor
Billie is a monthly subscription that delivers high-quality shaving supplies and body products, without clichés or false promises. The subscription starts at $9, with free shipping to the US. You’ll get a handle, magnetic holder, and two 5-blade cartridges in your first shipment. Subsequent shipments include 4 replacement cartridges, plus you can add-on to your subscription. You can actually pause or put the monthly box on hold anytime you want. This would make a great gift idea for a teen/tween or busy traveler.
Dollar Shave Club
Dollar Shave Club is a men’s shaving supply monthly subscription focused primarily on blade replenishment. Though targeted to men, there’s nothing stopping ladies from using their blades. You can get a twin razor for $3 per month, the 4x for $6 per month, or the executive for $9 per month. Your first box includes the handle appropriate for your chosen blade format. Monthly shipments generally include just a package of blades, but you can add on a variety of shaving products. You can switch to a different razor format at any time — if you pick a razor you haven’t tried before, they will send you the handle for your new blade in your next box.
Craft Beer Club
The Craft Beer Club includes 4 different styles of craft beers from two different independent breweries, adding up to 12 beers total. Craft Beer Club tries to include breweries that are far apart from one another to really give you variety. Upon your first order, you can select “ASAP” for your first shipment which will take between 10-15 days to arrive. After your first delivery, shipments are processed in the middle of the month, typically arriving at your doorstep in the latter-half of the month. Signing up for the subscription service provides a few options for frequency, including monthly, bi-monthly, and quarterly.
Home Chef
Home Chef is a meal kit subscription that delivers a weekly box of the pre-portioned ingredients needed to make 2-6 meals that feed two, four, or six people. Home Chef advertises easy recipes that can be made in about 30 minutes. They say their ingredients are fresh (though they don’t provide a lot of information about their sourcing practices), and they offer vegetarian, gluten-free, and calorie/carb-conscious recipes.
When you first sign up for Home Chef, you take a short quiz about your meal preferences and dietary restrictions. They ask what you like to eat, as well a what you tend to avoid. Based on your answers, Home Chef will choose recipes for you to get each week. As is the case with most meal kit services, you can log in and hand-select the recipes you’d like to receive. Note though, that the more particular you are with your diet, the fewer options you’ll have. There are also some “Add-On” items like fruit, smoothies, or quick lunches that you can choose to include in your box
FabFitFun
Aimed to surprise and motivate you, the FabFitFun box has everything you need to become your most fabulous self. Every season you’ll receive amazing full-sized beauty, wellness, and fitness products you’re bound to love! While many subscription services offer monthly shipments, these boxes ship out every season. They provide all kinds of beauty, wellness, and fitness products, as well as clothing, accessories, and much more.
Members can access the “TV” page with hundreds of workouts, cooking, and other fun videos that can help you enhance your health. You can also get the app to watch these on the go. They have a “magazine” page as well, which is basically their blog that has posts on all different topics.
In addition, there’s a “gifts” tab that shows their gifting options, which include six different e-gift card possibilities. Your account page will display information about your box, such as shipping details. Finally, they also have pages with exclusive offers and giveaways. Right now, you can use code BRITTANY20 for 20% off your first box.
KiwiCo
Kiwi Crate subscription boxes are amongst our favorite monthly subscription boxes for kids. One of my favorite things about Kiwi Crate is that the creations that are made from the box are high quality and get used over and over again. The creations are not typically one time use only. And even better than other toys, they are ones that we made together and we both love that! Typically the boxes come with at least three activities that correlate together some how. Ridge really loves this box and always like to open it immediately to see what is inside! You can use code SEQUINS to get 50% off your first month of any subscription.
Vine Oh
Vine Oh! is a quarterly subscription service that sends you the best wine and goodies in every box, straight to your door. Each box has two bottles of wine (with your choice of two reds, two whites or a mix of both) and 5-6 full-sized products that are fun, delicious and rejuvenating. If you like what was included in your box, you can order another bottle from Vine Oh’s Wine Shop and have it delivered to you!
