CT Magic away concealer // CT Wonderglow face primer // ct magic foundation // ct genius magic powder

Is there anything more luxurious than Charlotte Tilbury makeup? I mean her packaging, her products… they’re all incredibly swoonworthy.

Abracadabra! Charlotte Tilbury believes in magic, so she’s putting it into her products. Charlotte Tilbury has changed the game when it comes to her “magic” makeup collection. The magic foundation is absolutely a build-able, high-medium to full coverage foundation. As far as coverage, I personally don’t own another foundation that does a better job.

The finish of this foundation is a  demi-matte and which make your skin tone look really natural! It’s not going to create a glow, but you’re not left looking lifeless either. Again another magical balancing act! It’s a beautiful finish that’s rare to find in such a well-covering product!

The Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away Liquid Concealer comes in a slim, twist-up tube, with a pointed and fluffy sponge tip. Charlotte had been working on this concealer for five years, with the aim of creating a product that reduces redness, dark circles, pigmentation and crows feet. I apply it with the pointed-tip applicator and blended it out with a damp beauty sponge.

Oh man, this concealer is really good. I’m going to make a bold statement, here…..it’s up there with my beloved Tarte Shape Tape Concealer. I know, I know, but I’m seriously impressed with this concealer. It has full coverage, and really does a good job of concealing my dark circles.

Any product that offers to give you a ‘perfect skin day’ has me instantly interested.  I’m not one for heavy makeup, especially for the day time.

Charlotte’s Genius Magic Powder is an under eye and face powder which uses a veggie powder as an alternative to talc. I love this because I hate it when you open a loose face powder and it just feels like you are applying talc on your face – you certainly don’t get that with this powder.  It mattifies and reduces shine whilst reflecting light for that soft-focus effect.

I use the Shade Fair and find its perfect for me, I like that it doesn’t really add much colour to the skin so it doesn’t alter or affect the foundation or concealer shade you are wearing underneath.  Instead I find that it adds a brightness to the skin, nothing shimmery, just a gorgeous luminous feel that’s very natural to look at.

Charlotte tilbury Wonderglow face primer works as a makeup primer, highlighter and a tinted moisturizer, making it a fantastic option for prepping, touching up or finishing your look. In glowing terms, Charlotte Tilbury has created a formula in a universal shade “powered by a fluorescent core that converts UV light into skin luminosity for an instant soft focus spotlight effect”. The versatility it offers puts you in charge of controlling the intensity of the glow so whether you need subtle, bold or something in between, look no further. #NoWonder

bobbi brown multi-color eyeshadow palette

For me, the perfect make-up palette is one that makes my life (and train make-up routine) easier, without compromising on the levels of excitement that make-up can offer. I have been using the bobbi brown multi-color eyeshadow palette for a couple months now and it really is the perfect makeup palette.

Finding the right palette that does this for you can be one of the most exciting things to emerge from buying and trying new make-up. It is a great palette to go from day to night without having to use multiple palettes. I use the “burnished bronze” colors which are pretty universal for wearing with anything. The densely pigmented formulas keep their color and can be layered for greater shade intensity.

mac love me lipstick // mac retro matte lip gloss

I purchased MAC Love Me Lipstick in laissez-faire which is described as a warm pinkey brown. There’s always a lesson learned when purchasing MAC anything based off the descriptions they give because it is almost always not what I expect. I thought this would be a warm pink brown but to me it feels more like a warm taupe.

I usually go for more matte lipsticks but this one is insanely hydrating. Perfect for those with dryer lips. It applies beautifully and looks beautiful on!

I have been pairing the love me lipstick with the Mac Retro lipcolour for a matte finish. I wear it in color “burnt spice”. So this newbie comes in the same sleek packaging of the original matte liquid lipsticks. The tops look like the regular MAC lipstick lid, however it is actually houses a gorgeous flock applicator.

The color is a hit for wedding season and can be worn with most of the outfits. One needs to prep the lips well to avoid any kind of flakiness. The lip color gives better finish and look when applied in strokes instead of layering to achieve the desired color. The color is sure to draw attention which has shades of maroon- berry-pink- brown. Its gives the desired warmth to your face and a beautiful flush of color.
