Happy Monday Friends!
What a weekend… it might have been one of the worst of my life. I woke up to terrible news Friday morning that one of my good friends had passed away in a car wreck. I thought I was in a bad dream. Each day I woke up, hoping it was a bad dream but coming to terms that she really is gone has been a struggle for me. Not to put a damper on anyone’s Monday but you might be thinking, why are you even blogging or posting?!?! This is therapeutic for me. This is my distraction and how I can express myself. So here we are…. and I am finally getting a highly requested post!
I am excited to get this post up because I’ve had several requests for a roundup of my most purchased items. I decided to do a roundup of May’s top ten and I actually love doing these… I didn’t really understand them at first but now I get to see what everyone is loving. This not only helps you see recent purchases in case you missed anything and also helps me understand what you guys want to see… And these pieces are no surprise!
Number #10 – Tassel Cover Up
This coverup is the cutest and cheapest one I own! I found it from a recent trip to Target and couldn’t pass it up. The tassels totally add fun to this coverup and its perfect for all the hot, pool days.
Number #9 – Striped Shorts
These are one of the best fitting pair of shorts I own. They are not too tight around the waist where you feel like everything is going to hang over lol – I am wearing my true size, size 6. Great dressed up or down… and yes, that is ice cream my child is offering you in the pic 🙂
Number #8 – Palm Leaf Dress
I am obsessed with this print! And you wont believe the price of this thing… a whoppin $13!!! Wearing size medium!
Number #7 – Criss Cross Bathing Suit
I am not surprised this one piece made the top ten because it is one of the most flattering swimsuits I have ever owned. And so affordable! I love the rouching on the tummy and the cross straps can be styled different ways. It is a full coverage suit! 🙂
Number #6 – One Piece Ruffle Bathing Suit
I stepped out of my comfort zone recently and shared some swimwear that I am loving. I purchased this swimmie for a trip we took and its such a great fit! I love the ruffle around the top and this one is the best “bottom” coverage I have ever purchased! Wearing medium.
Number #5 – Brooks Sneakers
I have been on the search for a GREAT pair of running shoes that don’t wear out after three months. Brooks has a reputation for being an awesome brand for runners so I finally pulled the plug and snagged these… their on MAJOR SALE! Go up half a size for comfort!
Number #4 – Scalloped Shorts
These scalloped shorts are such closet staples for summer. They are super comfy, lightweight and can be dressed up or kept casual. The scallops make these so feminine and I die for them! 🙂
Number #3 – Palm Print Kimono
Literally my favorite kimono EVER! I was a little hesitant spending over $50 for a kimono but like, this thing is a show stopper! The colors are so vibrant and the print is everything! Worth. Every. Penny 🙂
Number #2 – AE Denim Shorts
This is no surprise to me because I will tell you right now, these shorts are AH-MAZING!!!! I usually am not a fan of the distressed cutoff shorts due to my “thicker thighs” but these actually slim your legs. They are also B1G1 50% off right now so take advantage! 🙂
