Sequins & Stripes

Sequins & Stripes

Happy (Holiday) Monday!!!

I hope you had a fabulous weekend. I am still recovering from a fun weekend with all the soccer moms! We visited a winery in Grapevine, TX and stayed at the Gaylord! There is an amazing bar at the hotel, Glass Cactus, and we tore up the dance floor. Being the youngest of the crew, I thought I could hit the town and be the last one standing… That was not the case! I guess I was breaking it down a little too hard and pulled something in my leg lol – that didn’t stop me from lifting drinks to my face….Thankfully, I have off today to relax and ice my muscle 🙂

I wanted to share a recent look I wore last weekend for our Galentine’s Night! I snagged this striped sequin top on clearance at Urban Outfitters before the holidays. Since it is more of a Spring/Summer top, I waited to bring it out! Since winter is on its way out (hopefully), I think its perfect to kick off the season with something fun and festive! I paired it with these distressed skinnies that are on sale right now for under $30!!! What I love most about this outfit is how simple yet chic it is. It is such a fun update to a regular ol’ striped shirt. I paired it with my favorite ankle strap heels that are super comfy! This bronze, tassel clutch was one of my finds from a recent visit to Macys Backstage.  This is 100% the look that I will be going for on our trip to Mexico in April… Fun and festive, but a little bit coastal, too.

I hope you have a great rest of your week babes! Are you enjoying this Monday off?

Brittany 🙂

  1. Ooh, such a fun look, Brittany! Glad you had such a fun weekend in Grapevine! I’ve never stayed at the Gaylord, but I grew up in the Dallas area and heard about the Glass Cactus all the time…sounds fun, and hopefully today you’ll be able to recover, haha!

  2. I’m glad you had a fun weekend! I am loving that top. I love stripes and sequins so it’s literally perfect. I also want another pair of distressed jeans in a darker rinse. I need to go on the hunt for some!
