Summer Vibes: Palm Print

Monday, we meet again!

Hoping this week is as crazy as last week! We had a great, relaxing weekend and I wanted to try to stay home as much as possible. If you have been watching my IG stories, I shared my stomach issue and asked for suggestions about how to fix it. Soooooo many people told me different things but I did try taking a pro-biotic over the weekend. I think this actually triggered it more since it is a digestive supplement. Hehe… I will probably be taking a trip to the doc this week to get it checked out. Stay tuned!

Today, I wanted to share a fun, off the shoulder top that is so perfect for summer! The print gives me all the feels!

When I saw this top online, I knew it could be styled so many ways. I wanted to keep it classy and casual with my favorite white jeans. For only $15, you definitely cant go wrong. I am wearing a medium but I do like my clothes a little looser so probably would of ordered the large if I could. We have lots of weekend parties going on this summer so I cant wait to rock this top with some cutoffs or wear it for date night. Target is having a big moment right now with their shoes! I found these sandals just browsing and SOOO glad I did. They go with everything!

I hope y’all have an awesome week!!

Brittany 😉

Memorial Day Vibes

Happy Monday!!! Our weekend flew by but at least its a short week… I spent most of the weekend getting my home office FINALLY set up and complete! (It only took a year.. #oops) I will be doing an office reveal later this week. Eeeek!

But….  Yay for Memorial Day Weekend!!

I wanted to share some fun inspiration if you are needing last minute essentials! And let me tell you… this fanny pack doesn’t disappoint!  I actually used it this weekend at a neighborhood block party and everyone wanted one!  Beer holder = SUCCESS! 🙂

Casual Metallics

Monday, we meet again! I hope y’all had an amazing Mothers Day weekend with all your family and friends. I had such a great day yesterday being “pampered” with a makeover from my son, brunch with family and of course a fun trip to Target! Couldnt think of a better day 🙂

I have been loving the warmer weather lately and wanted to share these metallic shorts that I cant stop wearing!

casual metallic shorts

Shorts // Chambray Top // Sneakers // Clutch // Hair Band

When I first found these shorts, I knew I HAD to have them. Metallic, silver & pockets??….I will take five pairs!!! I have already worn them several times and every time someone stops to ask where I got them! AND they are under $20!!

I initially wore an oversized sweater back in March but totally forgot to snap some photos. With the warmer weather, they will still be on repeat and can be styled so many different ways! For a more casual look, I paired them with my favorite chambray top. This pink clutch adds a pop of color and of course you cant go wrong with a touch of leopard print. I spent the day shopping so the hair was up for the day. Another touch of leopard print never hurts so I slid on my go-to headband!

I also styled them awhile back with this amazing graphic tee! This tee couldn’t explain my motto in life more perfectly!!

I hope y’all have an amazing week babes!!

Floral Layered Romper

Happy Monday y’all!

I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend and had a great time with all the Cinco De Mayo celebrations! We ate LOTS of tacos and then continued the celebration Saturday night with MORE fajitas and mararitas! Guess thats what you do when your husband is all about the FIESTA!!!I actually took a little break from social media this weekend which was very refreshing. Sometime you just need to unplug and enjoy the moments with family and friends.

I wanted to share this floral romper I wore to the blogger happy hour last week….

ROMPER , Sold out  (Similar, Similar)// WEDGES // HAT // CLUTCH // SUNGLASSES

I wore this to our blogger happy hour we had last week. It was a fun group of local Dallas Bloggers who are not only the prettiest group of ladies ever but they are also ALL moms!! I will share more of our fun little get together later in the week.

Rompers just have a fun, playful vibe to them and I couldn’t wait to style this one when the weather finally warmed up!  The halter detail makes it a perfect springtime transition piece and I just love the floral print!  This romper has everything I love in a spring/summer outfit. I am a fan of the no fuss appeal of a romper…easy to throw on, minimal accessories, paired with a wedge or strappy heel and be out the door!  I can’t believe how much that I love this on my short physique. It is the perfect length too. Unfortunately, it is sold out but I have linked very similar and affordable ones. I am hoping it will come back in stock very soon!!!

Hope you have an awesome week!

The Best Self Tanners

Y,all… what day is it?!? This week has flown by and I am still writing April instead of May on my invoices at work aaahhh… I have been super busy that I didn’t have  chance to post yesterday but I had several requests for my favorite self tanners so I had to share asap!

I am a big self-tanner fan and use them on the regular. I have been putting some new self-tanners to the test and found a few that I really liked so I need to update my list. Plus I am sharing the best new way to apply self-tanner so you need to read to the end of the post so you can be assured you get an even, flawless streak free tan too. These are my new favorites – the top 8 self-tanners to fake a beautiful, faux glow.

the best self tanners

1. Designer Skin Spray / 2. Banana Boat Self Tanning Lotion / 3. St. Tropez Sunless Mouse / 4. Tarte Brazilliance + Mitt / 5. Say Hello to Sexy Legs Gel / 6. Maui Babe Browning Lotion / 7.  Platinum Anti-Aging Face Tanner / 8. Kardashian Sunless Spray

Are you ready to give you skin the glow it needs without the harmful rays? Don’t forget, prolonged sun exposure is incredibly dangerous, and can lead to everything from premature aging to deadly forms of skin cancer. It’s just not worth it! I actually managed a tanning salon for 5 years and I have seen it all… very scary! If I could tell my 25 year old self to stay away from the tanning beds I would have…

When you want to apply sunless tanning lotion, or self-tanners, follow these simple steps for best results:

– Exfoliate dead skin, especially places like your elbows, knees, and ankles

– Don’t shave the same day you apply self-tanner

– Make sure your skin is dry before you begin application

-Wash your hands with both soap and water after each section is complete to keep them from getting unnaturally discolored (or use protective gloves)

-Wait at least ten minutes before dressing to make sure the product dries completely

-Continue to keep your skin hydrated so your new tan lasts as long as possible

-For best results, consider applying self tanner at night so it has time to work

What are some of your favorite self tanners?

Brittany 🙂
